| While GTA is not a game that is driven strongly by its K/D ratio it can still be used to, somewhat accurately, depict what type of damage an individual can cause on their own in relation to others. Using an individuals K/D ratio we formulate a pre-emptive threat index to determine if this individual can become a potential threat and if already causing trouble, who would need to be dispatched to handle it. This index is of course not 100% accurate but is the best way to determine if an individual is dangerous before physically interacting with them. Studying their interactions in addition to their K/D ratio determined threat index can give us a more accurate reading as well. Below is a chart that will depict how we classify Threat Potential and what situation could result from it. Note: We also use this index to rate the general quality of our own players which can assist in determining who to dispatch against a particular individual. Personal experiences can effect ones index if it is higher or lower then accurate readings. - S Rank Threat Index:
S Rank Threat: These are the highest threats on the index and the most rare. If someone of an S Rank Threat level is encountered it should be considered a severe emergency and the Captain Commander, several Captains, or Captain level combatants may be dispatched to deal with it if out of hand. This S Rank is also categorized by three tiers broken up within it, High, Medium, and Low. All of which are dangerous but it can give a more accurate reading when dealing with these dangerous individuals.
S Rank High- 4.0+ S Rank Medium- 3.3-3.9 S Rank Low- 2.6-3.2
Currently Assessed S Rank Threats: Zanamus: S Rank High - 5.6
- A Rank Threat Index:
A Rank Threat: Individuals within this index range as considered very dangerous and are severe enough typically to dispatch a Captain or Captain level combatant, sometimes even two if on the higher end of the spectrum. Like the S Rank Index, the A Ranks are also broken up into classifications of High, Medium, and Low.
A Rank High- 2.2-2.5 A Rank Med- 1.8-2.1 A Rank Low- 1.4-1.7
Currently Assessed A Rank Threats: Duke_Dycedarg: A Rank High - 2.43 CanadianSelf: A Rank Med - 2.12 BandanaDrew: A Rank Med - 1.84
- B Rank Threat Index:
B Rank Threat: Those that fall within this range are still dangerous but are within a range that is manageable. A single Captain or Captain level combatant can be dispatched to deal with the most severe in this range. Typically dispatching one or two Vice Captain's will be enough to handle such an issue. B Rank Threats are broken up into two classifications instead of three as seen in the A and S rank index's.
B Rank High- 1.1-1.3 B Rank Low- 0.8-1.0
Currently Assessed B Rank Threats: DjPink: B Rank High - 1.16 TheHunt5man: B Rank Low - 0.93
- C Rank Threat Index:
C Rank Threat: Individuals that are listed as a C class threat are what would be considered average. They are the most common threat encountered and can be dealt with by dispatching a Vice Captain in the most severe cases or more commonly a Seated Officer.
C Rank- 0.5-0.7
Currently Assessed C Rank Threats: KiritoGekko: C Rank- 0.64
- D Rank Threat Index:
D Rank Threat: These are the least dangerous individuals and are often times not even addressed. Those that fall within this range are more often the victims in violent encounters and create the higher class threats. On the rare occasion a D rank can get out of hand and a Seated Officer or Squad Member can be dispatched to handle them.
D Rank- 0.01-0.4
Note: Aside from truly benign individuals, D Ranks often have the highest potential to become a larger threat in the future. They are the most common in having their threat index misread due to lack of experience and combat encounters. 35% will typically be a true D Rank. 55% will be mislabeled and are actually a C Rank threat. 7-8% will be mislabeled and are a B Rank threat. 1-2% will be mislabeled and are actually an A Rank threat. S Ranks will typically not be mislabeled and cases of encountering such a threat are incredibly rare to begin with.
Use this index to your advantage and accurately gauge a threat that you may have to face. If you find yourself outclassed request for assistance from your superior officer to deal with a higher grade threat. The most important concept is that we are trying to make the game a safer and more friendly environment for everyone. Fulfilling your duty comes before being a hero. | |
